On October 7, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) Robbery Detectives contacted a vehicle at Maizeland Road and North Academy Boulevard. This vehicle was believed to be involved in multiple bank robberies.
The body of a deceased adult female was located on October 9, 2021, off Highway 83 and North Pinery Parkway, in Douglas County. The woman has preliminarily been identified by our detectives as a woman from an El Paso County Case.
On September 27, 2021, at around 8:00 PM, an adult male inmate at the El Paso County Jail was found unresponsive during a routine welfare check. Deputies and jail medical staff began lifesaving efforts. These efforts were, unfortunately, not effective.
