Today members of the Sheriff's Office Rural Enforcement and Outreach Unit (REO) obtained and executed a search warrant at a property in the 4500 block of South Calhan Highway in reference to an illegal marijuana grow.

On February 9, 2017, at approximately 6:02 PM, deputies responded to the 4300 block of Lashelle Avenue in Colorado Springs.  The victim was assaulted in the Stratmoor Hills area, drove himself to the Lashelle location and was found sitting in a vehicle with lacerations to his head.

On Saturday, July 15, 2017, at approximately 12:57 PM, the Sheriff's Office was notified of an aircraft emergency at the Meadow Lake Airport, located at 12850 E Hwy 24. Deputies from the Sheriff's Office, along with medical and fire fighting personnel from the area, responded to the scene.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a suspect in connection with an Aggravated Robbery. On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at approximately 4:14 AM, a suspect approached the counter of the 7-Eleven located at 1475 B Street in Colorado Springs.
