Sheriff's Office Looking for Assistance in Identifying 7-11 Robbery Suspect

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a suspect in connection with an Aggravated Robbery. On Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at approximately 4:14 AM, a suspect approached the counter of the 7-Eleven located at 1475 B Street in Colorado Springs.

The suspect asked the victim for Newport cigarettes and pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun and a magazine from the pocket of his sweatshirt. The suspect inserted the magazine into the gun and pointed it at the victim, but did not chamber a round. The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect left the store on foot, southbound toward Lashelle Way.
 
The suspect is described at a White male in his 20's, medium build with a light colored bandana covering his face, light colored hooded sweatshirt, white belt hanging down in front of his jeans, and black and white Adidas sneakers.
