On October 9, 2018, at approximately 7:14 AM, deputies were dispatched to 10400 block of Mount Wilson Place in reference to a shooting.  Upon arriving on scene deputies discovered a deceased adult female inside residence.

Detectives arrived on scene and through the course of their investigation and processing the scene, the suspicious death has been upgraded to a homicide.

The victim has been identified as Courtney Jackson, 42. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Coroner's Office once they have received all the information to make a ruling.
