On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at approximately 9:27 PM, Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired in the 1900 block of Shawnee Drive. When deputies arrived on scene, they located a deceased male lying on the sidewalk.  Detectives were notified and responded to interview witnesses and process the scene.  

The Coroner’s Office positively identified the victim as 26-year-old William Underwood.  We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the friends and family of Mr. Underwood.
