UPDATE: Sheriff's Office Asking for Assistance in Finding Endangered Teen

Jul 11, 2016 - 8:07am

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Preston Chandler Brown. DOB: 06/18/00.  Preston was reported missing from the area of Highway 115 near Fort Carson, Gate 5, on July 7, 2016.

Preston is described as a White male who is 5’10” tall, weighs 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.   Preston was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.  He also took a blue "Seahawks" hoodie and red shorts with him.  Preston is riding a grey Redline D900 mountain bike with a "Bicycle Village" sticker near the bottom of the seat post.

He should be wearing a medical "dog tag" style necklace.  There is a growing concern for his safety as he has now been without his medication for five days.  We believe he may be traveling northwest en route to his grandparents who live in Adna, Washington.

A photo of Preston is attached to this Media Release.  He is known to run from law enforcement and may fight if approached.  If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Preston, please contact Deputy Nicholas Witherite with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office at [email protected] or 719-208-0058.
