The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Provides Update on Missing Child

On Saturday, March 17, 2018, at approximately 5:41 PM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing 2-year-old named Nain Dominguez DOB: 09/24/15.  Nain was last seen near the Stratmoor Hill Trailhead Park, located at 1215 Forest Road with an older sibling. El Paso County Deputies along with numerous other resources responded to the location to conduct search operations.  

On Sunday, March 18, 2018, at approximately 7:18 am, Nain Dominguez was located and transported to a local hospital in life threatening condition.  He was later pronounced dead despite medical intervention. 

The Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of the Dominguez family. We would also like to thank the El Paso County Search and Rescue, Flight for Life, Safe Streets, Fountain Police Department, Colorado Springs Police Department, Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the community for their assistance.  This is an ongoing investigation.  Information will be released as the investigations allows.
