Taekwondo Coach Sentenced in Sexual Assault Case

In Early 2017, the Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit began an investigation on a Sexual Assault Case involving suspect Glenn Allan Lainfiesta, DOB: 04/02/73.  Lainfiesta had been working as a sparring coach at the Academy of Life and Leadership Taekwondo at the Chapel Hills Mall, 1710 Briargate Boulevard in Colorado Springs.

 

On April 18, 2017, he turned himself into the El Paso County Jail on charges of Sexual Assault on a Child by one in a Position of Trust, Criminal Attempt to Commit Sexual Assault on a Child by one in a Position of Trust and Unlawful Sexual Contact.

Today, Lainfiesta was sentenced to 30 out of 36 months for Criminal Attempt at Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust which is a Class 5 Felony.  He was also sentences to 9 out of 12 months for Unlawful Sexual Contact., which is a Misdemeanor.  These will be sentences will be served consecutively.
