On May 9, 2021, at approximately 9:27 PM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call about a stabbing in the 2000 block of B Street. 

When deputies arrived on scene they located an adult male with a stab wound.  The victim was treated on scene, transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive his injury. 

Through the course of the investigation, a person of interest was detained and questioned.  As a result, Mahryan Uhrig was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Jail on the charge of Second Degree Assault.
