On February 2, 2021, at approximately 1:28 PM, our Communications Center dispatched deputies to the Park and Ride located in the 1900 block of Woodmoor Drive, on a Disturbance call. 

The reporting party was a witness to a physical altercation involving 3 different people. 

Officers from the Monument Police Department and our deputies responded to the scene and found an adult victim on the ground. They employed lifesaving efforts until medical personnel responded to the scene. 

Following interviews and further investigative effort, detectives secured an arrest warrant charging Deverayn Armstrong, DOB 02/27/1989, with 1st degree assault.  Armstrong was transported to CJC to be booked. The victim remains at a local hospital in critical condition.
