Sheriff's Office Looking for Suspects in Criminal Trespass Auto Case

On Monday, June 27, 2016, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office began an investigation regarding a Criminal Trespass Auto case.  The victim parked and locked her vehicle in the Black Forest Regional Park parking lot and was walking the trails between the hours of 12:00 - 1:00 PM. When she returned to her vehicle, she found the driver side door lock had been punched and her purple “Sherpani” purse had been stolen.

At 2:00 PM the same day, a male and female attempted a fraudulent purchase in the amount of $1,001.68.  This occurred at Target, located at 9670 Prominent Point in Colorado Springs.

Witnesses advise the suspects were possibly operating a charcoal colored van or SUV.
