Sheriff's Office Looking for Public's Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Attempted Theft Case

On November, 7, 2017, at approximately 12:30 AM, the Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a theft.  The reporting party stated on November 5, 2017, between approximately 5:55 - 6:45 AM, a male suspect entered the property of the Colorado Springs Commercial Kitchen located at 6429 Omaha Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO.

The suspect removed a bolt cutter from under his jacket and attempted to steal a red Honda generator from a food truck by cutting the padlocks.

The suspect is described as a male of unknown race in his 30's.  He is approximately 5'08" tall, 200lbs and bald with goatee. He was wearing a blue Bronco’s pullover jacket, red shirt, blue jeans and red shoes.  Although the suspect didn't steal anything, he is still looking at multiple charges to include Attempted Theft and Criminal Mischief.

The vehicle is a 2003-2006 black GMC Sierra extended cab pickup truck with a bed cover.
