On October 31, 2015, at 8:45 AM, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) received a call for service regarding shots fired in the 200 block of North Prospect Street.  Officers received a description of the suspect and his direction of travel.  Officers encountered the suspect at Platte Avenue and Wahsatch Street.  The suspect fired multiple shots at the officers.  CSPD officers returned fire and the suspect was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The suspect has been identified as Noah Jacob Harpham, DOB: 6/10/82, of Colorado Springs.

There were four officers involved and their names will be released by the Colorado Springs Police Department later this week. The investigation has revealed the officers were not wearing body worn cameras and their vehicles were not equipped with dash cameras.
