Sheriff's Office Asking for Public's Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Forgery Case

The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a forgery case.  On April 24, 2016, an unknown suspect passed several forged checks at the Highlands Ranch area Walmart and King Soopers with the fraudulent name of “Nicholas Nasta” printed in the upper left block of the check. 
 
The suspect also attempted to pass a check at the Walgreens store located at 6650 Timberline Road in Highlands Ranch.  The suspect was unsuccessful in passing the check; however video was obtained.  
 
The suspect is described as a White male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, light brown or dirty blonde hair with receding hairline, thin build, dark colored jacket, tan shorts and sneakers.
