On August 6, 2015, at approximately 8:55 AM, a fraudulent purchase was made with a stolen credit card  at the Walmart located at 4425 Venetucci Boulevard in Colorado Springs. A single charge for $564.88 was made, and a second attempt for $235.27 was denied. Prior to that, the card was used at the Rivon Gas Station, located at 4140 US Highway 85/87 for a small purchase.
 
The victim advised it appears her credit card was possibly stolen in her room while hospitalized at Penrose Saint Francis Hospital, in Colorado Springs.
 
A surveillance photo is attached to this Media Release and shows a lone White male wearing a brown fedora type hat making the fraudulent purchase.
