Sheriff's Office and Colorado Springs Police Department Support Special Olympics in Annual Torch Run

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado Springs Police Department, in our continued partnership with the Special Olympics, will join forces for the Annual El Paso County Law Enforcement Torch Run. 

Participants will leave the Mel Haven Lodge in Manitou Springs at 10:00 am and proceed down Colorado Avenue to the Office of the Sheriff at 27 East Vermijo.  They are expected to arrive at approximately 11:00 a.m.  There will be a short ceremony in front of the Office of the Sheriff.  Members of the community and media are invited to attend the start and finish of the run.
