Sheriff's Office and Colorado Springs Police Department Support Special Olympics in Annual Torch Run

On Friday, June 17, 2016, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and Colorado Springs Police Department, in our continued partnership with the Special Olympics, will join forces for the Annual El Paso County Law Enforcement Torch Run.  Participants will leave the Melhaven Lodge in Manitou Springs at 9:30 am and proceed down Colorado Avenue to the Office of the Sheriff at 27 East Vermijo, where Sheriff Elder and Police Chief Carey will be on hand to congratulate the runners as they cross the finish line.
