As was previously reported, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the homicide of Mr. Manuel Hernandez-Uribe, whose body was found in the 5200 block of Old Stage Road in unincorporated El Paso County on June 10, 2022.  As a result of this investigation, 4 suspects were identified.

On October 5th, 2022, suspect Ector Sarabia-Cabrera, DOB: 07/13/1999, was arrested in connection to this investigation and was booked into the El Paso County Jail.  He is currently being held on a $500k bond for the charges of Second Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Kidnapping With a Deadly Weapon, and First Degree Burglary.  His booking photo is attached to this media release.
 
Since then, the Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Regional Fugitive Task Force, and other law enforcement partners in the Denver-metro area, located and arrested the three remaining suspects in this case in the Denver-metro area.  They are identified as Isidrio Sarabia-Gonzalez (DOB: 05/15/1998), Braulio Barron-Rubio (DOB: 03/26/1988), and Yessica Cortes-Barcenas (DOB: 11/24/1993).  

All three suspects are also being held on respective $500k bonds and are awaiting extradition to the El Paso County Jail (Sarabia-Gonzalez and Barron-Rubio are currently being held at a Denver Sheriff’s Department facility and Cortes-Barcenas is being held at the Adams County Jail).  Their booking photos are also attached to this media release.
