Nov 7, 2016 - 1:51am

On Sunday, November 6, 2016, at approximately 5:00 PM, the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received several calls regarding a vehicle on fire possibly related to a domestic violence situation in the 1300 block of Forest Road in the Stratmoor Hills area.

When Deputies and Fire personnel arrived on scene they found a vehicle on fire and two females with burn injuries.  The two females were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Detectives were notified and responded to the scene.  Through our investigation, we learned the situation started as an argument between the suspect and female.  The female was sitting in a vehicle with another female passenger.  The male party threw an accelerant on the vehicle, ignited a fire and left the scene.

The suspect has been identified as Consepcion Rascon Jr. DOB: 12/19/79.  An Arrest Warrant has been issued for two counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, two counts of Second Degree Arson, Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.

A previous booking photo of Rascon is attached to this Media Release.  If anyone has information as to his whereabouts, please contact the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at 719-390-5555.
