On January 1, 2018, at approximately 7:45 PM, Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at an address in the 2700 block of Aqualane Dr.  Upon arrival, deputies learned that a total of six suspects, all armed but one, forcibly entered the residence through the front door.  The suspects made demands for money and rummaged through the residence. During the incident, an occupant of the residence was shot. They were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for a gunshot wound and eventually released.

The suspects were described as at least five black males and one Hispanic male wearing all black clothing. All suspects but one had their face covered.  The suspects left the scene in a dark colored SUV.
