Sheriff’s Office is asking for Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Check Fraud Case

On March 9, 2017, a victim’s residence in El Paso County was burglarized and several items including a checkbook were stolen.  On three separate occasions, the suspect made unauthorized transactions using the stolen checks at the King Soopers located at 500 E Bromley Lane, in Brighton, Colorado. 

On April 9, 2017, the suspect purchased groceries and a gift card at the self checkout line.  On April 11, 2017, the suspect is seen checking out with a male party. On April 13, 2017, the suspect purchased gas and cigarettes. 

The suspect is a white female, 30-40 years of age, heavy build, long red hair, and a tattoo on her left forearm.  The associated vehicle is a small grey suv.
