Sheriff’s Office Asks for Assistance Identifying Suspect in Criminal Trespass Auto / Identify Theft Case

On August 3, 2017, at approximately 2:08 PM, a male suspect broke into a vehicle at Fox Run Regional Park in El Paso County.  The suspect entered the vehicle by breaking out the rear driver’s side window.  The victim’s purse including several credit cards and ID’s were taken.

At approximately 2:39 PM, the victim’s credit card was used at Europtics at the Shops at Briargate located at 1685 Briargate Parkway in Colorado Springs.  The suspect purchased a pair of Oakley Sunglasses and then exited the store, last seen headed towards other shops. 

The suspect is described as a White male, 20-30 years of age, 5’11, medium build, last seen wearing red baseball cap, white t-shirt, green camouflage pants and black shoes.
