On Sunday, April 15, 2018, at approximately 3:40 PM, fire personnel with Donald Westcott Fire Department (DWFD), Tri Lakes Fire Department and Palmer Lake Fire Department (PLFD) responded to a structure at a residence in the 14000 block of Allegiance Dr. Upon making entry into the residence, fire personnel discovered a large marijuana grow and requested law enforcement respond.

Members of the Metro Vice, Narcotics and Intelligence (VNI) and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Rural Enforcement Outreach Unit (REO) obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence. During a search of the property, 115 pounds of processed marijuana, 85 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, 55 vials of Ketamine, and approximately 3,000 in cash were seized.  An arrest has not been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
