Honoring Our Volunteers During National Volunteer Week

Apr 30, 2025 - 9:00am

During National Volunteer Week, we proudly celebrate the 230 active volunteers at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. These dedicated individuals contribute their time, skills, and energy to support our mission and strengthen the relationships we hold within our community.

“Volunteerism reflects the heart of the American spirit. Across the country—in jails, shelters, schools, hospitals, across our mountains and trails, and within faith-based organizations—volunteers extend compassion and offer meaningful help to those in need,” said El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal.  “Their actions are a powerful example of selfless service and community leadership.

“On behalf of the nearly 900 sworn and professional members of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, I extend our sincere appreciation to all who volunteer. Your commitment brings people together, creates a lasting impact, and represents the very best of who we are as a community. Your contribution is invaluable to our Office!”
