On January 17, 2018, at approximately 3:00 AM, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office responding to a call in the 1600 block of Hampton South, regarding a stabbing in progress. When deputies arrived on scene they located the victim who was lying on the ground and he had been stabbed.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Jerwarren Jackson, DOB: 04/08/94.  The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Coroner's Office once they have received all the information to make a ruling.
