On Sunday, August 22, 2021, at approximately 10:49 PM, The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of a disturbance in the 11000 block of Fawn Lane. Upon arrival, deputies located one deceased individual. Two other individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded and has assumed the investigation. The name of the victim will not be released at this time pending identification by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office and notification of next of kin.

This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the community. This is a continuing active investigation and information will be released as the investigation allows.
