El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Emergency Rehab Volunteers

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Rehab Unit is seeking motivated individuals to join the ranks of this highly dedicated all-volunteer team. The Emergency Rehab Unit is a unique and specialized group of individuals with a specifically focused mission and passion to provide critically needed health and safety services to emergency responders during extended and/or complicated emergency situations throughout the greater Pikes Peak Region.

The Sheriff’s Office will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Emergency Services Division located at 3755 Mark Dabling Boulevard in Colorado Springs. This event is open to all members of the community who have an interest in learning about this unique opportunity. Members of the media are also welcome to attend.

There will be a short presentation describing the scope and expectations of the Emergency Rehab Unit with time allowed for questions and answers, display of equipment, and a meet and greet of current volunteers. Light refreshments will be provided.
