On June 28, 2021, at approximately 7:21 AM, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Communications Center dispatched deputies to a Check the Welfare call in the 11000 block of Rodez Grove.

Upon arrival, deputies found two deceased individuals.

The deceased victim has been identified as 45-year-old Nubia Rodriguez and the suspect has been identified as Christopher Ealey, DOB: 08/26/1970. The cause and manner of death for both will be released by the Coroner's Office once they make a ruling.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Nubia Rodriguez.
