On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the arrest of Deputy Michael Christian stemming from an investigation by the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.  Deputy Christian was hired by the Sheriff’s Office in March 2008.  He has been placed on Administrative Leave without pay pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
