On October 9, 2018, at approximately 7:14 AM, deputies were dispatched to 10400 block of Mount Wilson Place in reference to a shooting.  Upon arriving on scene deputies discovered a deceased adult female inside residence.

Detectives arrived on scene and through the course of their investigation and processing the scene, the suspicious death has been upgraded to a homicide.

On October 9, 2018, at approximately 9:00 PM, Thomas Jackson, DOB: 08/13/73 was booked into the Criminal Justice Center on the charge of First Degree Murder.  He is being held without bond.

The identity of the victim will not be released until positive identification has been made by the Coroner's Office and the next of kin has been notified.
