On Monday, May 8, 2017, at approximately 6:30 PM, the Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center  received a 911 call regarding a stabbing in the 7900 block of Weatherstone Drive. Deputies arrived on scene and located a male lying on the floor in the lower level of the residence with multiple stab wounds.             

During the subsequent interviews Detectives learned there was a physical altercation inside the residence which resulted in a stabbing.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is now in stable condition

Matthew Dunomes, DOB 07/06/96 was taken into custody and booked in the Criminal Justice Center Jail on the charges of Attempted First Degree Murder and First Degree Assault. Other potential charges are pending.
