On June 12, 2016, at approximately 2:25 PM, deputies responded to a stabbing near FS Road 320C on Mt. Herman Road.  The Sheriff's Office Dispatch center then received a call a short time later that there was a man near the intersection of Mt. Herman Road and FS Road 320C, bleeding.                

It was reported later the male victim departed the scene in a black Mazda SUV on Mt. Herman Road toward Monument.  He was contacted driving this vehicle by Monument Police Department officers and was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released for non-life threatening wounds. 

The suspect has been identified as Linda Eslinger, DOB: 04/08/84.  She has been booked into the Criminal Justice Center on Second Degree Assault charges.
