On April 21, 2022, at approximately 4:57 p.m., the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communications center received information from a caller who reported finding a deceased male lying on the side of the road in the 20000 block of Longhorn Point. This area is located in unincorporated El Paso County within Hanover, Colorado. 

Deputies responded to the area and discovered a deceased adult male.

The victim has been identified as 22 year old Anthony Moore. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Moore. 

This is an active investigation, El Paso County Sheriff's Office detectives are working hard to determine who may have been involved with this death.

The Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone with information regarding this case to call our Tip Line at 719-520-7777. Any information may prove valuable in solving the case and could consist of things as simple as local residents remembering suspicious vehicles or people they saw in or around the area on the date of this crime.
