Sheriff's Office Investigating a Motor Vehicle Theft

The Sheriff's Office is investigating a motor vehicle theft that occurred in the 11500 block of Meridian Market View in unincorporated El Paso County, Colorado.

On July 20, 2022, an employee’s vehicle was stolen from the parking lot while the employee was working their shift in the store. The suspects arrived in a separate vehicle and backed their vehicle in the parking spot next to the victim’s vehicle before stealing it. 

The first suspect enters and drives off with the victim’s vehicle. This suspect is described as a thin-build male wearing a light-colored long sleeve button-up shirt with a dark shirt underneath, dark pants, and a baseball cap. 

The second suspect drives off in the suspect vehicle. This suspect is described as thin-build female with blonde hair, wearing a dark tank top and dark pants.

The third suspect moves from the rear driver-side to the front passenger-side of the suspect vehicle. This suspect is described as a shorter male or female wearing a dark tank top and dark cropped pants.

The suspect vehicle is a maroon Subaru Outback with no hub caps with possible damage to the passenger-side rear bumper.

The stolen vehicle is a black 1992 Nissan pickup with a black topper with a crack in the rear window.

The Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone with information regarding this case to call our Tip Line at 719-520-7777.  Any information may prove valuable in solving the case and could consist of things as simple as anyone remembering suspicious vehicles or people they saw in or around the area on the date of this crime.
