On July 31, 2020, at approximately 6:03 AM, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call from party who reported to seeing a person laying on the side of the road on Highway 24 in Cascade. 

Deputies responded to the areas and discovered an adult female deceased.

The Sheriff's Office is investigating this case as a possible homicide.  

Detectives are working hard to determine who may have been involved with this death.

Any information may prove valuable in solving the case and could consist of things as simple as local residents remembering suspicious vehicles or people they saw in or around the area on the date of this crime.
